After taking a year or longer break from turning pens, I am getting back into it.
I haven't turned for any number of reasons, excuses or situations, but I won't go into those.
After moving the lathe from my parents' basement to the porch at the house, and getting it set back up, and making sure everything works, I am finally getting to the point that I can turn again.
It is amazing how much stuff one buys, collects, keeps when doing a hobby like this.
Multiple boxes filled with parts, blanks, tools, and sawdust.
The above picture is after a good hour or two moving stuff around, and placing it in their spots.
The cabinet on the left holds all of the extra pen kits, blanks and other kits I have.
Since the picture was taken, I have added a light that stands behind the lathe so I can have good light on what I am doing.
Maybe a post in the future will show a picture of the purple tub with shavings in it...
